KOHLER ANNOUNCES THE WINNERS OF THE "KOHLER BOLD DESIGN AWARDS"
Recently, Kohler has presented 11 of the most impressive and outstanding architectures that won the prestigious in the “KOHLER Bold Design Awards” in Vietnam. This is the first year the competition has been held in Vietnam to honor unique and sophisticated architectural constructions as well as outstanding influencers in the real estate sector across the country.
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – 14th October, 2020 – Kohler Co., a global leader in the design and innovation of kitchen and bath products, has officially announced the winners of the KOHLER Bold Design Awards.KOHLER’s panel of judges including renowned international and local architects and designers, has selected 11 most outstanding works and distinguished talents in the field of construction design in Vietnam.
In 2019, Kohler held the KOHLER Bold Design Awards for the first time in Vietnam with the expectation to motivating the development of creative architecture and interior designs in Vietnam. Commenting on Vietnam's real estate industry, Ms. Angel Yang, President of Kohler Kitchen and Bath Asia Pacific, proudly shared: “We recognize the artistry, professionalism, and talent of our Vietnamese architects and designers in this ever-evolving real estate and hospitality industry. From the submission, there is a growing trend on the finishes and colors application in the work of the Vietnamese designs. We can see works with culture and historical elements integrated into the design intends. The recent COVID-19 has also transformed hospitality projects design to not solely focus on aesthetic and functionality aspects but also on sustainability and wellbeing.”
With the goal of providing a platform for project and individual architects, designers and property developers as well as hotel operators who create or own the architectural designs of hospitality, residential and commercial property projects in Vietnam, KOHLER Bold Design Awards has received positive feedback with more than 200 submissions to the website https://kbda-ap.com/ from talented individuals and collectives in the field of construction design throughout Vietnam.
A team of 5 renowned international and local architects and designers are invited to participate in the panel of judges to evaluate and select the most exceptional projects and talents.
